Just a mile or so away is Otterton Mill, a working mill where you can see the grain being milled before buying the freshly baked bread or other local delights. The mill has an excellent licensed restaurant for lunch or afternoon tea, as well as a gallery and gift shop where the talent of some of our local artists is unveiled. They have live music, usually on a Thursday.

The Sidmouth Folk Week (30 July-6 August in 2010) is a huge draw for folk music-lovers. You'll have to book your accommodation in good time, because we are usually booked a whole year in advance.
